Providing Private Music Lessons In Dover, NH
Peter Labourdette has been playing Guitar and studying music since 1977. He studied privately for four years with Bob Piourn, a local Jazz legend in the fingerlakes region of Central New York.
He went on to study Guitar, Modes of the Major Scale, Improvisation and Music Theory at the Crane School of Music in Potsdam NY.
After College Pete performed with several bands which toured the Central New York area including The Ezra Brooks Band and Justin' Tyme.
He relocated to Dover, New Hampshire in 1985 to write music and play Guitar and Bass in Seacoast bands: Aziz, Triple Threat, and Jabbawok. His Studio work includes albums recorded by Aziz and Jabbawok.
Since 1987 Pete has instructed students in Guitar, Bass, and Music Theory in local music stores as well as at The University of New Hampshire, and The Leddy Center for the Performing Arts.
He opened Pete's Guitar Studio in the Fall of 2000.
His goal is to provide students with a comfortable and relaxed learning environment.
