Does your website sound like the economics teacher? Does your audience act like the students? Measuring audience behavior helps us understand how well people retain information. The teacher took attendance. He asked questions. He sought engagement. At some point, I am sure he gave a test. What he didn’t have was their attention. We know that because we can read their body language - staring, fidgeting, sleeping, drooling. Does your web page cause these things? We can’t see the body language of your audience so we measure their behavior.
